Professional Radiology Inc. is one of the largest groups of board-certified radiologists in the region, serving the Fort Hamilton Hospitals, West Chester Medical Center, Christ Hospital, Jewish Hospital, and Kenwood Medical Imaging.  There are 32 board-certified radiologists in the practice.  A radiologist is a physician who specializes in utilizing and interpreting images of areas located inside the body for the purpose of diagnosing and treating diseases.  These images are produced using a variety of technology, including X-rays, magnetic energy, and sound waves.  After becoming a doctor, radiologists have between four to six years of specialized training after becoming a doctor.  An interventional radiologist is a doctor responsible for performing minimally invasive and targeted treatments with the use of imaging guidance.  Interventional radiologists must be board certified and fellowship trained in interventional treatments and their training is certified through the American Board of Medical Specialties.  We would like to introduce you to some of our physicians.

Robert V. Bulas, M.D.

Dr. Bulas specializes in interventional neuroradiology, and neuro and body magnetic resonance imaging.  He is the Director of MRI at the Christ Hospital, Director of the Carotid Stent Team at the Christ Hospital, and the Co-Medical Director at Kenwood Medical Imaging.  He is affiliated with The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, the Fort Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton, Ohio, and The Jewish Hospital in Kenwood, Ohio.  His fellowship was in Neuroradiology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and he attended medical school at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. 

James R. Cornwell, M.D.

Dr. Cornwell specializes in diagnostic and interventional radiology.  He is the Director of the General Lab, Midwest Ultrasound, Inc.  He is affiliated with three hospitals:  The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, The Jewish Hospital, in Kenwood, Ohio, and The Fort Hamilton Hospital, in Hamilton, Ohio.  His board certification is through the American Board of Radiology and the National Board of Medical Examiners.  Dr. Cornwell had his fellowship at Abdominal Imaging at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington DC.  For medical school, he attended the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and his internship took place at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati.

Robert S. Lenobel

Dr. Lenobel has specialties in body imaging, nuclear medicine, PET, and breast imaging.  He is the Medical Director of Nuclear Medicine at the Jewish Hospital.  Dr. Lenobel attended medical school at the University of Missouri School of Medicine in Columbia, Missouri.  His internship was with Internal Medicine at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.  He completed his residency at Diagnostic Radiology at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri.  He completed his fellowship of Nuclear Radiology at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri.  He is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology, Nuclear Radiology by the American Board of Radiology, and the National Board of Medical Examiners. 

Eva L. Lizer, M.D.

Dr. Lizer specializes in women's imaging.  She attended medical school at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans.  Her internship was at Tulane University Hospital and Clinic in New Orleans.  She completed her residency at the Diagnostic Radiology Department at Tulane University Hospital and Clinic.  Her residency, however, took place in Boston at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School.  Her fellowship took place with breast imaging at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School.  Dr. Lizer is board certified by the American Board of Radiology.

Edward F. Martinek, M.D.

Dr. Martinek's clinical specialties are in diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures.  He is affiliated with three hospitals in the Greater Cincinnati area:  The Jewish Hospital in Kenwood, Ohio, The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, and The Fort Hamilton Hospital, in Hamilton, Ohio.  He attended medical school at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  His residency took place at Diagnostic Radiology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.  His fellowship was in neuroradiology and interventional radiology at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan.  He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology as well as the National Board of Medical Examiners.  Dr. Martinek has additional certificates of added qualification in neuroradiology and interventional radiology. 

Eugene Paik, M.D.

Dr. Eugene Paik's clinical specialties are in vascular and interventional radiology.  He is affiliated with Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, Jewish Hospital in Kenwood, Ohio, and Fort Hamilton Hospital, in Hamilton, Ohio.  He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology.  Dr. Paik attended medical school at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana.  His internship was at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.  He residency took place at the radiology department at University Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.  His fellowships are in both body imaging and interventional radiology at University Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. 

Linda L. Reilman, M.D.

Dr. Linda L. Reilman specializes in both mammography and women's imaging.  She is the Medical Director of the Department of Radiology at the Fort Hamilton Hospital.  She is also the Medical Director of Mammography at the Fort Hamilton Hospital Women's Health Center.  Dr. Reilman is affiliated with the Jewish Hospital in Kenwood, Ohio, The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, and the Fort Hamilton Hospital, in Hamilton, Ohio.  She attended medical school at the Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio, and completed her residency at Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Cincinnati.  She had a surgical flexible internship at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.  Dr. Reilman is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology National Board of Medical Examiners, and she was the Spirit of Hope winner in 2002.

Glenn M. Taylor, M.D.

Dr. Taylor specializes in diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures.  He is affiliated with three hospitals in the Greater Cincinnati Area:  The Jewish Hospital in Kenwood, Ohio, The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, and The Fort Hamilton Hospital, in Hamilton, Ohio.  He attended medical school at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.  His internship was in general surgery at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois.  His residency took place at Diagnostic Radiology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Brian D. Weaver, M.D.

Dr. Weaver specializes in breast imaging, interventional breast procedures, as well as nuclear medicine and PET imaging.  He attended the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.  His internship was with the Internal Medicine division of the Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.  During his residency, he worked in Diagnostic Radiology at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, Ohio.  He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and the National Board of Medical Examiners.  His affiliations with hospitals include The Jewish Hospital of Kenwood, Ohio, the Christ Hospital of Cincinnati, Ohio, and the Fort Hamilton Hospital, of Hamilton, Ohio.  He is the Director of PET Imaging at the Department of Radiology at The Christ Hospital.
